President Trump Tuesday slammed his Democratic rival Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Twitter – and the whole event set off a chain reaction Wall Street sell-off.

Traders reportedly believed a new stimulus bill was close to passage but when Trump tweeted that a deal could not be reached with a recalcitrant House Speaker – all betts were off.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped more than 300 points on the tweets.

Seemingly the bulk of the national MSM roundly blamed the President but Speaker Pelosi has avoided criticism.

Pelosi was asking for a Christmas wish-list of $2.4 TRILLION dollars in the bill. And the White House says a lot of it would have gone for the rebuilding of cities trashed by anarchists.
