President Joe Biden is expected to sign executive orders dealing with the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, and with abortion restrictions enacted under President Donald Trump’s administration.

On the Affordable Care Act, Biden is expected to sign an executive order creating a special enrollment period for Americans to enter the exchanges. The administration is arguing that people who lost coverage due to job losses from the pandemic should have a chance to enroll.

The enrollment period is expected to last from February 15th through May 15th.

Biden is also expected to sign an executive order that will rescind the Mexico City Policy. This policy prevented international nongovernmental organizations that provide abortion counseling or referrals from receiving U.S. funding.
