Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger(R) announced Wednesday that Georgia will be conducting a hand recount of the Presidential Election results because of the close margin.
The Trump campaign had requested a recount on Tuesday. Biden currently holds a 14,000 vote lead or about .3%.
Under Georgia law, a candidate can request a recount if the margin of victory is less than .5%. The state expects to have the recount finished by November 20th and the results will then be certified.
Georgia will be paying for this recount. Because of state law on recounts, the Trump campaign which also requested one in Wisconsin will be paying an estimated $3.1 million for a recount there.
Raffenberger asked for anyone with knowledge of election fraud to come forward.
