When the Hong Kong Free Press ran an op-ed titled, “President Biden will stand with Hong Kong – more effectively than Trump ever did” there was a deluge of backlash and negative comments accusing Biden as being in the pocket of the Chinese Communist Party.
A Hong Kong journalist stated, “Trump is seen as a man of the people who stands against the power of Bejing.”
