Carl Bernstein, one of the reporters who exposed the Nixon Watergate Scandal, is now releasing the names of 21 US Senators that “repeatedly expressed extreme contempt for [Donald] Trump and his fitness” for office.
He pointed out while many publicly have used Trump to further their own agendas, behind the scenes they have worked against him.
I’m not violating any pledge of journalistic confidentially in reporting this: 21 Republican Sens–in convos w/ colleagues, staff members, lobbyists, W. House aides–have repeatedly expressed extreme contempt for Trump & his fitness to be POTUS. (1/3)
