Outgoing US Attorney General William Barr stated he could see no reason to appoint a special counsel into allegations of election fraud or a tax investigation into Hunter Biden.
Barr in his last press conference as Attorney General told reporters, “I have not seen a reason to appoint a special counsel and I have no plan to do so before I leave.”
Barr told reporters that he has seen no evidence of widespread election fraud.
He also stated that he felt that the cyber-attacks came from Russia, a break with President Trump’s suggestion that China was behind the hack.
