Veteran’s groups are asking for Georgia Democratic US Senate Candidate, Raphael Warnock, to withdraw from the runoff race with Sen. Kelly Loeffler.
In a 2011 sermon, Warnock stated that “America, nobody can serve God and the military…You can’t serve God and money. You cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. America, choose ye this day who you will serve. Choose ye this day.”
Warnock, 51, has been a senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta since 2005. The position was once held by Martin Luther King Jr.
The run-off is scheduled for January 5th. Should Democrats win both Georgia seats and Biden win the Presidency, Democrats will have a majority in both Houses of Congress.
